AIDT Alabama’s Workforce Training Agency, is excited to announce the promotions of several employees: Bobby Jon Drinkard and Karen McGraw. Drinkard and McGraw are the newest additions to the AIDT Executive Management team, and their promotion reflects the hard work and dedication of these two exceptional individuals.
Drinkard previously held the position of AIDT Training Manager and will now take on the role of Assistant Director, Central Alabama. In this new role he will oversee AIDT pre-employment training programs, project management, project support and the AIDT Military Transition Program. Bobby Jon has a BS from Troy University and has been with AIDT since 2008.
McGraw previously held the position of AIDT Business Office Manager and will assume the position of Assistant Director, Business Operations and CFO. She will oversee the business office, finance, and fleet management. Karen holds a bachelor’s degree from Athens State and an MBA from Ashford University. She is also a 15-year military veteran and started her employment with AIDT in 2006.
“We have such a great staff at AIDT, and I am so proud to have watched these two hardworking people move their way up thru the ranks of AIDT,” stated Ed Castile, Deputy Secretary of Commerce for Workforce Development/AIDT Executive Director. “I am confident that they will continue to be assets to AIDT and to the state of Alabama.”
